The Problem with PDF Links in Linktree
If you link a menu PDF hosted on Google Drive or Dropbox, that link breaks the moment you delete or replace the file. Every time your menu changes, you have to log back into Linktree and paste a fresh URL. Menu Links gives you one permanent link that never changes, so you set it in Linktree once and forget about it.
Step 1: Generate your Permanent Link
- Sign up for a Menu Links account (it's free to start).
- Drag and drop your current menu PDF into the dashboard to create a new link.
- Copy your new permanent link. This URL will never change.
Step 2: Add the Link to Linktree
- Log into your Linktree dashboard.
- On the Links tab, click Add (or Add link).
- Paste your Menu Links URL into the URL field.
- Set the title to something clear like "View Our Menu".
- Toggle the link on so it's visible on your profile.
Step 3: Make it Stand Out (Optional)
- Click the thumbnail icon on the link to add a menu photo or icon.
- Use the layout or featured options to pin the menu near the top.
- Drag the link to reorder it so customers see your menu first.
Set it Once, Update Forever
From now on, whenever your menu or pricing changes, you don't need to touch Linktree at all. Just replace the file in your Menu Links dashboard, and your Linktree link instantly serves the updated PDF to every visitor.
